ETACS options customization

Hi Vadimus,
I had a look on the ETACS Decoder as linked above.
The installation is'nt clear, aspecially the USB driver, apparently my BOX or ETACS are'nt seen and the interface is in Russian ... no english version ?

Anyway it is not a commercial product, or a product at all yet.
Connect the cable, change its driver to libusb, start etacs decoder, switch to English, go to Connect Lexia menu.

Found the following leveling related settings (numbering as per ETACS 322, may differ for other ETACS)
This one is most likely the only one visible in DiagBox:
The rest is the underwater part of an iceberg:
So to enable auto leveling you need to change slightly more than one setting

Yet another feature discovered - now I can change FM step from .2Mhz to .1, make RDS messages change automatically, and even time is now being taken from FM broadcast.

Best discovery yet!!! Awesome!PS Can you over-ride the system to allow "valet" mode with a remote starter? I.E. it WONT kill the motor when you open the door?

I replaced my OEM stereo long ago due to extremely poor FM sound quality and mediocre CD/MP3 quality (despite having the dealer replace it).

Nice find. I would make sure it doesn't change FM de-emphasis settings, otherwise you are losing out on audio quality unless you are moving the car outside of North America.

I'll try to reconnect antenna amplifier power back and see if it has any impact.
Funny thing, I was able to find a station where RDS is being received while stereo is not
Anyway, it is the first time I was able to change ETACS settings using only custom software.
More discoveries to follow, dozens of new options unseen in DiagBox/Lexia/PP2000.

I have a plan for adding to DiagBox missing options and their values, but ETACS Reader is a bigger priority at the moment.
