I just received the Lexia 3 and I wanted to know what is the installation procedure.

I read that I need a laptop with XP, but beside installing from the CD provided, is there something else to know like update?

I read the complet thread and from what I understand, the lexia tool needs to be firmware 4.2.4 then use DiagBox with TLCD fix ...

Any news on the ETACS decoder software?

I tested diagbox 7.06 on my Outi 2011 today. Works great with firmware 4.2.4. Changing of customer-options and default-settings is no problem.

I manage to install Diagbox 7.06 on a XP laptop. The firmware is 4.2.4. When I try to connect to my car (RVR 2011), I choose C-crosser enter the VIN then I chose "Repair". The software scan the ECU and say "No dialogue" for all of them. The light on the Lexia is green, I checked all connection and they don't seem to be the problem ... any idea?
Is it normal that the green led is always on? When I connect the device to my pc, it flashes 2-3 time then turn solid green even when not in diagbox.

Thanks

Are you sure that the firmware is 4.2.4? Diagbox read out the VIN automatically. If this does not work, all others wont work too.

Diagbox updates the firmware to 4.3.0 if you connect before starting diagbox. You have to turn of upgrade as mentioned in this forum. (app.ini) So check firmware with checker again.

I thought that the version of diagbox I used was already patch (scarymistake version). I'll give it a shot.
So:
1- Re-install firmware 4.2.4
2- Turn off upgrade or plug after diagbox is started

Since I have a RVR/ASX/Out Sport, do I choose the C-crosser (4007) or Aircross (4008)?

Thanks

C-crosser is Outlander clone
Aircrosser : ASX

That is right but:

On my european ASX diagbox works better with CCrosser. In Aircross all ecu's are shown as "unknown" and some options in etacs e.g. Power Window Type are not present.

So for most reasons I work with CCrosser. In CCrosser the Etacs is known as etacs and all options are available.

If I want to check some parameters in Engine-Ecu I take Aircross in which the 4n13-engine is intergrated.
