ETACS options customization
Thanks Claude. I finally managed to upgrade. It was giving me an error everytime it tried the internet update, but I searched around and found a file on another site which said lexia 3 v347.99. It was really 348.01 (I can see it in the screen that comes up). I updated using that file, and now I can write custom values to my 2011 Outlander Sport
I see a LOT of options in there. I can confirm rzracer's comment about needing this version before the 2011 Outlander Sport/RVR can be programmed.
I enabled the speed-based auto locking (love it) and locks off on engine shutdown. I don't have DRLs but want them, so I played with the DRL (running lights) settings a bit - setting them to "present" or "normal" makes the low-beam headlights to come on with the light stalk in OFF. The "Independent" setting does not do anything, I assume I need to put in those bulbs. Not sure if the car is pre-wired for DRLs... Setting the DRL to "low intensity" screwed up my HID lamps - they were flickering like crazy with that setting on, likely not being able to start with the low voltage. If you have regular halogens for low beams, I think they may glow with a lower intensity with this setting on. I did not try any of the "with/without parking" options for the DRLs.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have both DRLs and Fog lamps in the same assembly, at the same time? My car manual shows replacement instructions for "type-1" or "type-2" DRL light assemblies, and the light bulb replacement diagram talks about three types - type 1 with fog lights/DRLs, type-2 dor running lights only and type-3 for fog lights.
I'll be okay with just the same bulb as the fog lamp acting as DRLs but at a lower intensity. Can any Canadians confirm whether they have permanent DRLs on their car, but also can use fog lamps if needed at the same time?
Original Outlander owners - do you see the setting called "auto lock when the key is detected on the outside" setting? I see this in my OS but it dodesn't seem to do anything.

Can you post the link of the reference you mentioned? I would like to take a look to see if we can bypass this black list.
So, we will have to make our own way. :-)
I will try to take a look at the service manual and post a new thread to discuss an alternative.
Is it possible only on the 2011 with FUSE?

2007-2009 models are better in this meaning

You need to register and do a "Present yourself post" first.
It's from France But I guess you can handle French.
The story is mostly about the difference between genuine and Chinese copy and how to fix the broken one but at the end of page 14 then 15 someone is talking about blacklisting from diagbox 5.31 and up.
The whole forum is about getting access and fixing European cars but a large portion is about the Citroen and Peugeot using the Chinese Lexia.
They even resell the unit themselves after a so called certification (That double the price though)
good reading
Vadimus-Claude_A, It will be possible to enable our Out the selected speed indicator as shown in the video (D 1to6) instead of just having the D?

The transmission ECU will be totally different.
Also under the D(x) display you had the word "Normal" wich I think is for some shifting mode like for example "Sport", "Normal", "Eco".
It's worth checking though.
