I'm sorry to say I have not been able to use my Lexia tool, but I'm trying to find the reason, as soon as it successfully (if this happens) immediately share the findings here in the forum. Saludos.

To jsrd:

A couple of days ago I tried to re install Lexia on a non English computer (French OS) and I was never able to have the Lexia tool driver to install itself until I tried to install with the tool already attached then suddenly it found the driver and installed it.

Also there is many report of the Chinese tool being of interesting quality on a French forum I found.
One person has disassembled both a genuine tool and many copies and made comment about how he fixed some who would not communicate.

If you think you can handle French or at least look at the Miriam of pictures
here is the link --> Connexion

You might need to register and do a presentation post.

They specialized in European cars including Citroen and Peugeot all using Chinese copies of the tools since the originals are sold in the same price range as the MUT3.

I have to laptops set up for Lexia. One has English XP while another one has Russian, so the localization not necessary is the issue.

As for my Chinese Lexia - Actia Evolution XS clone - even despite I experienced have some problems with it, I must say the overall build quality is quite high. Accurate planar mount and soldering, no do-it-yourself after-factory links using the famous Chinese hair wires, about 30 IC chips and array of solid-state switches...
Actually it does not look like it should be ashamed to wear "Made in France" badge

Thank's Claude_A and Vadimus for your aid. I reinstalled the software, I tried to connect to the website, and continue with the same result, NO CONNECTION. Until I can access a 2008-2011 Outlander, then I could know if the problem is hardware, software, or my Outie

I disassemble my Lexia tool to check the status of the connectors, and found that the white connector was a little loose and maybe this is the reason for not connecting, but I figured that the connector is inserted in one way but it is not, and now I don't know if it's in the correct position. Someone can help me to see if the connector is in the correct position before attempting to connect again to my ETACS?

Thank's in advance. . .

According to this picture from the French site who disassemble and fix these Chinese unit you should be OK as the color match their picture in relation to the silkscreen ABCD indication on the bottom RH corner.

Also check the soldering of all the chips especially the white relays.

I've got an '09 Lancer GTS and I am wondering if anyone knows if this Lexia device will work with it. I know the ETACS system is similar between the Outlander and Lancer. Unfortunately though, I haven't found any other threads dedicated to it on the Lancer like this one.

These are the things I am hoping to do:
  • Remove TPMS warning while winter tires are installed
  • Have front fog lights illuminate for daytime running lights rather than half-power low-beams. I want to install some HID low-beams and I'd rather use the fogs as DRL (I live in Canada).
Thanks for any guidance.
