Default Help

Oh great Vadimus,

I just got my device today.

Diagbox 7.04 installed - check
Got it to communicate with my outlander - check
Can't find TPMS "Under inflation" setting.
Saw a screenshot of going to Programming by default for the setting.
Got a messages of 2 options all in french. Clicked Checked. Nothing happening.

Sinking feeling in my stomach (is this what the warning was talking about?)

Turned car on. worst fears realized. Everything has been reset.

Sent a PM for help and guidance on restoring old settings.

My gratitude in advance!

Because I didn't have the patience and wanted to try things out I changed some settings.

Errors I had initially:

Abs service
Tpms service
Airbag ystem
Asc system
Transmission service

After fooling around with settings and turning a bunch of settings present based on the setting description I managed to fix a majority of the errors.

All I am now left with are:

Airbag System
Power Steering service

Not quite sure which settings need to be changed to fix those. By any chance does anyone have a list of the appropriate settings for a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander SE 4cyl AWD CVT?

Thanks for all the help.

Vadimus, what's you're paypal address?

Have you set "Electronic Power Steering ECU" under "Programming by Default" to "Present"?
I think there's a Power Steering menu outside BSI (together with Gearbox, ABS, Theft Alarm, etc.) and you might be better off changing the settings there.

You can also try changing the settings under the Airbag menu under BSI and reading and clearing the faults one by one.

Also under "Vehicle Options," try setting "Steering" to "The the left" if you have left-handed driving in your country. There's also "Steering wheel angle sensor" under "Vehicle Options," which you can try setting to ABSENT.
