Question eclipse cross

When I have the A/C on,and you are at idle, the fan keeps going on and off.
This happens in a period of 10 seconds on and about 30 seconds off.

With open windows you can hear the fans very loud each time they get on.

Is this normall ?
i dont have an outlander but i have the 2019 eclipse cross and i have the same problem... the fans will be fine while im driving but when im stopped/idle the fans turn on and off within seconds and you can hear a loud clicking sound, but other times ive had the fans be very loud and then when you hear the fan turn off it jerks the car forward a tad bit which is strange. so idk ive had the car a few months and its strange.

i got this eclipse cross back in December 2022 and the car has been great but i just have one thing that continues to bother me and that is the fans near the engine.

When i am stopped/idle the fan will make a loud clicking noise to indicate each time it turns on and off and then i have some cases where it will do that exact thing but this time it will slightly jerk the car forward and that doesn't seem right at all.

is this normal?
