haha. you are right!
stick duct tapes across the intake, stall the engine, push the outie you would effectively get 0 fuel consumption. you save on gym membership fees as well. freeweight training

throw away the outlander and get yourself a nice pedal bike then. its more energy efficient then pushing around a vehicle. no?

Just noticed that EPA for 2009 is 17/23 which is more realistic numbers then rated for my 2007 model 21/27. If I knew that I would be getting 17/23 I would've considered other options.

I have been averaging about 20-22 mpg depending on much highway driving I am doing. When on the highway, my trips average 24-26 mpg, and in the city it can be anywhere from 18-20.

Traffic, and hills really get me, but I think using cruise control and being light on the pedal when in the city helps drastically.
