I had the 7,250 mile service on my '07 Outlander but Mitsubishi service did not reset the service indicator so when I turn on the car it still says "Periodic Maintenance"... the only thing they did was change the Maintenance Schedule in the Nav System which seems to be completely unrelated but they didn't get it...

Any ideas if I can reset this myself? I have the CarChip device which will reset an Engine service light but not sure if this is a custom Mitsubishi OBD setting.

I dont know... I need to reset mine also, but im to lazy to actually write a post... so, ill just check back here from time to time and see if anyone comes up with an answer

 

Wow...I 've had my '07 since November and just cracked 1,000 miles...[]I guess I'm not driving as much as i used to.
Shouldn't the dealer reset both reminders?

 

You can reset it yourself - push the button in halfway and you will have the optionto reset it.

 

In your manual it says how to reset it.

 

I'm wondering if this is similar to what just happened to me.

I just changed and reset, but it looks like it went to a different schedule, yet the computer still says it's the default one.
