Default Help! Brokers spark plug in head

Ok, so I have a 2007 outlander 3.0 that has a broken plug stuck in the head. It broke off flush the the threads. I got the ceramic out. Then was using a easy out to remove the rest. Boy am I lucky on top of the broken plug I now have a broken easyout in the head as well. What do I do next? Also how hard is it to remove the head? And DIY’son it. Mechanically inclined but still prefer to see a write up or video on it.
thanks

Hello Mate,
It sounds like you have a lot on your hands at this point, I can't see anyway you can do this without pulling the head. With an Easy out in there you now have tool steel that is just going to deflect any drill bit that you use to the softer metal of the head.

It sounds to me like you are in for pulling the head. This would be a good moment to get the head refreshed, new head gasket and new timing setup. This is a costly repair and very time consuming. How much experience do you have? Pull the head isn't too bad, it just requires a lot of work and a list of torque specs. You'll just need to see if there are any specialty tools or anything.
