2016 2.2diesel - 'lumpy' idle and missing
Hi all,
After a bit of advice. We recently bought a 2016 with high mileage. We are experiencing a strange momentary 'loss of power' like its stalling at various speeds. It happens mainly at lower revs between 1200 and 2000 but can happen at higher revs. we can't find a pattern or any one thing that makes it happen.
It has full Mitsubishi service history (83k) and is very clean and appears looked after.
We have been back to the garage and it isn't throwing out any fault codes but they have agreed to take it back in and look at it over a longer period. They have agreed that they will do what's needed to rectify but seem to be at a bit of a loss as to what it is.
Any pointers?

I am in the middle of diagnosing some similar issues...
I had a cracked 'intercooler'' to 'throttle body' hose that I replaced
When doing so I sprayed the throttle body butterfly valve with some break cleaner and verified it was moving freely
1 day later my wife said it wasn't running right and was down in power, on checking it was throwing a P0107 error (MAP Sensor) but as far as I can determine the MAP is good. It is outputting 1 Volt at idle which is about normal. Today I disconnect the battery and then reconnected after 5 minutes then allowed engine to tick over at idle to relearn its nominal air fuel mix. I have taken car for a quick spin and all seems ok now....its it not throwing an error any more....will test drive more tomorrow.
