HID Conversion DONE! (Pics and info)
#101
(short back ground , I installed foglights and wired it to the parking lights as the trigger for the foglight relay, this was done so that she never forgets to turn them off and i did not have to install a switch)
so when the noise finally came oni traced it back to the relay for the foglights, the only reason why i can think this would happen is because it is not getting a full 12 volts
any thoughts

so i did the above mod ,switching the wires from the headlight harness and it seemed to work fine, but just tonight my wife came home (here Outie) and said her car is making a funny noise.

Well, once you switched the wires - your parking light circuit is no longer producing 12V!!! It does produce constant 12V prior to modification and this is why I switched them, so that I can use it for low beam HID relay. In your case, you shouldn't do this mod - just wire-tap fog lights relay to stock parking lights wiring. BTW - if you have not switched to HID relay kit for low beam, your parking light circuit is now been overloaded by stock low beam lights - beware!
everything is switchback to the way i first had it. I am for sure running a HID relay kit would not install it with out one
and jaysfreak i took the bumper off to install the foglights

The owners manual says that the low beam bulb is 9006HB4. I believe that if you can find that type of base/plug, you should be good to go. It is a common base. Good luck!
This should help.

I believe they are. It would be great for the manufactures to have a standard name and description for their bulbs. Its kinda confusing. Just my opinion....for low beams keep they 55 watt or under. this link may be more helpful.
