So, is this kit just for fun or it will prevent something?

So I got the kit and was about to install, but documentation is vague and I don't want to mess up something. Can someone explain to dummy please if these are the points where I need to install ?

Yes! that is where you put fittings. Hood bolt will seem short and needs thin washer.Put both struts on before trying to close hood.

Thank you for details!

Just to confirm:

The top attachment goes on top bolt and the strut attaching point towards the edge of the hood. I thought I tried it and there was not enough space, but I'll try it again.

The bottom attachment goes in place of that bolt that holds the headlight like shown in the 3rd picture.

If I understand you correctly and flip it, it will not be flush with the hood. I will double check tonight. Thank you for your help!

Klas, look on the instruction sheet lower right side marked (completion Guide). It shows proper facing of the bracket on the hood.
