Thanks seajack. Got it installed. One minor thing though. The hood doesn't fit flush is there a trick to fix this?

 

Klas ,you have fitting for left side on right side.Tab with ball faces upwhen hood is closed.Google (alvoturk 9000).Find ebey entry "08-09 Mit.outlander suv gas hood strut for sale." click on .When picture of hood shows,click on "larger image" . then click on small mitsu picture,thenclick on"enlarge". It will show fitting on hood properly. Remember,right and left is from sitting in car .

I am in Australia and now have the dent on the drivers side (passengers side over there) on my 2009 Outie
