Default How dirty was the CVT filter during filter change?

I have a 2016 with the CVT, 2.4 liter engine. How dirty was the CVT filter when you changed it out? I have almost 90K miles and will flush the CVT again soon. I do it every 30K miles. I don’t think the dealer changes the filter so curious if it’s really necessary, considering I change the fluid every 30k.

Thank you!

It is not part of any schedule for the filter to be replasced. I have worked at Mitsubishi for many years and have never changed one.

But if it was my car i would.

Chnging the oil every 30000 mile is good. Mits Australia suggest every 45000kms ( 3 years) with severe usage or 90000kms ( 6 years) in normal use.

But when changing it at 90000 they say you must do it twice, to ensure the oil in the convertor is cleaned out
