Default How to remove the glove compartment in 2007 Outlander

I would like to change the cabin air filter. I understand I need to remove the glove box to get at it. I am not sure how remove the glove box. Any tips will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I have got that one, but could not find the information about the airpurifier or cabin air filter. I have looked all the files. Which part of the manual should I look again?

All you have to do is squeeze the sides of the glove box. I just did my cabin air filter. I took 2 minutes. I squeezed the sides in, pulled on side forward than the other. After that there is a strut thing connected to the right side of the glove box that pops off.

The filter is behind the circled white door. There is one clip on each side to pop off.

Thanks very much, tfass for the tip. I just did it and it took really about 2 min.

I don't know when the previous owner last changed the thing. The old one was quite dirty. I would check it once in a while and vacuum between replacements.
