How to unlock MMCS

I removed my HDD yesterday and put the latest ( m250) Europe maps on and all seems to be working fine.
However when looking at my systems info I see that I am still running application 00.31.06. I've been trying without success to find a later loading kwi to update without success.
Am I missing out on any new features ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a later software than E ?

If I remember well since app. 00.51.xx you get the RTT feature on the navi
(I have that version on) but still very old maps

Also the RTT feature is already on my application 00.31.06.
How did you go about updating the canbox?

For the CanBox I burned the CD with the file and loaded it by the "Can Box Load" button

I have connected my disk to a laptop booted to the xbox linux iso.
do the unlock -p <password>
I then get detecting drive status
security supported yes
security enabled yes
security locked yes
security frozen no
security count expired yes
fdisk -l does not display anything am I missing something?

I had to use this code for the Japan version.

This work a treat, now to get the right loading.kwi files, they seem so hard to find.
But can start to photoshop the images on the disk

Managed to unlock the disk, replaced the loading.kwi with one I found on a russian site.
Put hard disk in the car, powered off from battery. Then rebooted the MMCS.
Get error on screen
"Updating screen" then a failed message and then it just keeps looping.
Tried to put the file bac that I change but can not unlock the disk now.
Any ideas?

Hey guys, I've finished instal auto climate control and Mitsubishi Multi Communication System, for 2006 lancer , but there is one problem with the screen cuase i take it and climate from Japanese car , it show some words by Japanese language and my friend told me it say, (PLEASE PUT ORIGINAL DISK OF MMCS) ... So any body have an idea about that ??! Thanks
