Default Installation of Aftermarket rear seat entertainment system (Roof mount DVD Player)

I've install a After market GPS (Chinese GPS for outlander)on my 2009 XLS outlander and now i need to install a roof mount DVD player as a rear seat entertainment system.
Does any one have any experience about that. or is there any alternative rear seat entertaiment system(dvd player) for OEM ? Any kind of After market Roof DVD player for outlander?
The one I’m planning to install is a universal roof mount DVD player.
any one has installed that before?. Shall I rip off the trim on the roof to do that?
Thanks,
