Interior question
How are your door panels holding up intermsof scuff marks and scratches? I had my car for over a week now and even though I'm paranoically careful with my car, I already have few marks on the door panels.None of them belong to me,butthis doesn't matter. Do you guys know any magic product to get rid ofsuperficial scratches on the hard plastic door panels?

RE: Interior question
No issues so far with mine. But like you I'm always on the look out for something I can use to prevent scratches.
Like antlip said, for the deep scratches you're screwed. Meguiars 40 sometimes helps with the real superficial scratches.
I am keeping an eye out for a stainless steel trim piece that I can place there, or maybe some of that 3M clear trim.

RE: Interior question
None with mine at all, and I have three kids.
If I do get one, the best way to cover them up is to keep everything clean, tint your windows dark,
The sunlight is what makes them noticable, as is the dirt build up in, and around them.
The best way I have ever found to avoid getting them in the first place is to use some sort of black magic product on just the lower panels... not on your pedals, but on the lower sills, and such... The reasoning here is that if something glides across the surface, it is less likely to scratch.

RE: Interior question
I have no scratches but I have been getting in my car like a 90 year old lady. Clear 3m plastic will probly show on black plastic. My best suggestion is to advoid beating your car up. If you do get scratches on the interior door panels then oh well its a car and **** happens. If you plan on selling it years down the road and are that worried about it, buy new panels.

RE: Interior question
Thanks for all suggestions. The scratches I got are superficial and they show from certain angles and light.I'll keep them clean anyway. I also have the scuff plates on order with my dealer.
The marksare not that bad so far, but the panels are prone to scratches. I hope Mitsu comes out with better ones for the next MYs and mayby they are not too prohibitive to replace.
