Default Introduction and question

Hi to the forum
Thanks for letting me join. My names is James and I have owned my 2015 Outlander Sport since November of 2015. I am also an amateur radio operator. Other vehicles I have had in the past I was able to find a way to run the power wire for my mobiles through the firewall through where the clutch would be. In my Outlander I do not see this anywhere. I have been looking for a way through the firewall for at least 8 months. Anyone on this forum can offer any suggestions on how to run power wires through the firewall? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
JamesM.

There are probably existing wires going through the firewall for a towing harness. When you get a tow harness there is a front cable that connects to the battery that plugs into a spare connector near the battery and a matching one at the rear. Maybe if you locate them and check if they are suitable. My 2012 Outlander had the rear connector inside near the right hand side wheel arch.
