Default Jack Capacity

This may be a simple question, but I would like your recommendation. I have a 2-ton capacity floor jack and jack stands. I got the jack and stands when I had smaller sedans (Corolla and Saturn Wagon). Now that I have vehicles like the Outlander (and a RAV4 as well), is this jack safe enough, or should I get something more heavy duty? My Outie is a 2011 ES FWD. Thanks for your help!

That's what I use... If you use the 2ton, you won't overload it as other tires will support some of the load.
