I have. It made the car more responsive. No noticeable change in fuel consumption. I've taken a part of the intake duct off as well. This, i think is my best mod. When the intake duct switches to the short duct at around 3600rpm, the engine makes a nice deep growl.

i installed the WORKS air filter about a year ago.

it flows very well and is servicable.

it is the filter they sell for the 08 lancer on their site.

with the WORKS filter there is no visual difference.

it is a drop in filter so it is in the same place as stock. ( just flows more air).

same applies for the filter on '08 lancers and 09 ralliart.
