Wouldn't hooking it into the parking light, which is less than 30cm away, be an easier solution to achieving the same effect? It also comes on when you turn on the lights to the first notch.

thanks!

I didn't look to see if this will work, but it might. If you can easily access the parking light wire. You may be able to use one of these wire taps, all you have to do is make sure that you apply 100% silicone calk around ALL openings. Goop it on.

It should involve making a connection into the parking light wire. no need to cut, as it has its own connector before going into the light...so just shove the wire in there and secure it with something.

You can use pictures from this thread as a reference:

This is exactly what i used armymen. There is no need to cit and splice the wires. LED lights use so much less power than regular bulbs that you dont have to worry about blowing a fuse if you tap in to the parking light harness. Secondly, if you changed your front parking lights to LED like I did, then your harness and fuse will definitely able to hold the load.

I said LOAD...

I know on the Left Headlight there is one LED out, I accidentaly crushed it, But good thing I have about 2 sets of replacements as you can see in the pictures above, I also have a few sets of 2 foot and 1 foot color red side emitting LED's which I don't know what to do with yet. I also have hundreds of any color pre-wired LED's which I also ddon't know what to do with yet, I was thinking of puting maybe one or two LED's behind the exterior door handles for a cooler look at night but I just have not had the time to do so.

Anyways In a few days Im going to replace all the Audi style LED's that are in the front I think they have taken a beating in the summer plus the one LED that is out on the left side needs replaced, These are not your cheapy ebay LED's, I've gone through so many ebay side emitting LED's and they are serious Junk. So know I go to Oznium.com plus you get a warranty with everything you buy plus their stuff is good quality. All together i have about 10 feet of cool white side emitting strips. I'm going to put two footer under each headlight and replace those little one footers aswell and I need to find something to do with the reds, I'm open to any suggestions.

I though it was kinda cool how the person that started this thread has car that looks exactly like mine even with the LED's but I have half my tail tinted with the Nightshades, I did have the whole tail tinted but I wanted to give this a try and I like it. I'm open to any constructive critisism. Thanks all.
