Looking to buy an 07 outlander
Well I ended up buying a Rav4 Sport V6 for a couple of reasons, the Mitsu dealership is moving in the next couple of weeks 20 minutes farther from my house, the salesman for the outlander didn't want a negociate the price at all, and was giving me below black book for my trade in, under pretext that the outlander was such a hot seller...
on the other side, the Rav4 was more powerful, better fuel economy, a bit better handling, and they gave me 2 grand more for the trade-in , and 2,100$ canadian rebate on the car....
I won't even talk about the Santa Fe, the ride was so harsh and boring!
I really liked the outlander, but the fact that I was unable to negociate at all was a real deal killer...
thank you all for the comments and help!

Dude you went in the begining of the month. Everyone knows to go at the end of the month when they are trying to get there bonus. Also with the high demand and everyone paying top dollar isnt going to help you out. On the other hand the RAV 4 not being in high demand the dealer will drop the price to sell it, not needed to move an outlander.
There must of been about 20 outlanders on the lot, and only a 2 Rav4's, so go figure!
the outlander as only been available to a couple of weeks in Canada, and Mitsu is really not that well established in Canada compared to the states...

Good luck on your new car Octane.
This being the Outlander forum, most will of course disagree with your decision.
But it's never good to have second thoughts after you've bought a car, and it's never polite to tell a man he's bought the wrong car.
So I say good luck, and have fun with your new car.

Well when the toyota doesnt live up to its expectations and you go buy an outlander we will be still here. I will be out in my outlander playing with my indash navigation unit now.
