Default Mitsubishi Outlander Warrior Parking Sensors Not Working

Apologies if this has been covered in another post, I could not find any specific information that would help me figure out why my rear parking sensors are not working. I also noticed that the boot light and passenger side rear fog light are out.

Before taking the car to a dealership, could you please advise what checks I can perform to decipher the issue.

I have a 07 Mitsubushi Outlander Warrior with the standard rear factory fitted parking sensors.

Thanks

Both rear parking sensors and rear fogs are powered through same harness.

Hi,

I opened the rear passenger panel and checked the fog (dummy light) and rear boot light (not working - bulb is fine). I then checked all the fuses and none of these were blown. I have to now check the back light connection to the sensors ( page 13 - http://www.mitsupartsworld.com/Insta...LANDER_PG1.pdf) to see if the wire is damaged.

My plan of action now is to disconnect the parking sensor wire from the back light wire. If the light starts to work, I will then disconnect one sensor at a time and take it from there.

If the light still doesn't work, I'll run a few continuity tests on the wires.
