Hello all, the dealership has called me (Edmonton, Alberta) saying there is a update for my NAV / Gracenote on my 08 XLS.

Has anyone updated theirs yet in Canada? Any idea if there is a charge involved? Any new features with the update?

Hey, I'm from Canada too, but Ontario. My dealer still haven't call me about the Navi Update. I own a 2007 XLS. You should ask your dealer about the cost. It sucks, because you just bought a 2008, but they still have you a 2006-2007 Navi System. It would suck if you have to pay more for the 08 Navi update, because you just bought your Outie!

Let me know what happens.

I talked to the parts department at the southside Mitsubishi dealership in Edmonton and was told there is an update $157.00. They don't stock it, special order only. I have an 07 xls and have been waiting for a long time for this. I guess I'll go in and pay for it tomorrow.

 

Hi there! I was wondering how does the up-dating system really works. So you will bring your Outie into the shop, and wait for them while they up-date the system? Or do they give you a disk, and you will have to install and go through the steps yourself? Any ideas?
