Hi RCPAX, how much did you pay for the mud guards? In Canada the dealer charges about $180 + tax which is kind of high with the current exchange rate.

I got it for about 100 US$ after taxes. Current eBay listings will be 10 to 15$ higher after taxes and shipping. I thought I'd rather buy from the dealer than from eBay since I let the service dept do the oil change, I might as well buy from them and build rapport, and also the ease of returning it if I got a bad product or a missing screw or nut. But I just told the parts guy I'd install it myself since this isn't a "critical part" and doesn't look too complicated to install.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from its slumber...

rcpax, where did you get those longer mudguard? Any brand to it? Do you have to do extra drilling or it fits perfectly with the existing hole in the Outlander? I'm looking for a mudguard that offers better protection than the OEM one. I heard the japanese OEM mudguard is bigger, but I can't find it anywhere online.

Or do you think the US OEM mudguard is good enough?

i have the factory mudguards installed and they work great. i also have 3m film on the rear wheel hubs. never had any problems
