I just had my 6000 km service and I asked about navigation updates andwas told that Mitsubishi plans to do them via satellite for the outlander.
I thought they were supposed to be updated by disk. Does anyone know for sure about this, I live in Edmonton.

 

Sounds like it would work. That would be cool if we didnt have to pay for a cd.

 

it wont be done via satellite. It will be by disc.

as far as I know, nobodys GPS updates through the satelitte, as the satellites have NOTHING to do with the componants.

 

...unless your Batman.

 

How are road construction and detours handled on other GPS systems?

 

usually through a cellphone and bluetooth.
