new to mitsubishi rvr or (outlander sport)
I couldn`t find the exect forum so I though this would be the place to ask questions. I purchased an 2015 rvr fwd and it is an awsome vehicle, not to familiar with the new cvt auto transmission, it sounds like a tranny with no clutch plates like the older models.
any how I just wanted to say hi and I`m new to mitsubishi.

you don`t feel the tranny shifting like you use to with the old tranny style with clutch plates. I was told these trannys have heavy duty belts in them and is something similar to how a snowmobile works. don`t know if thats true or not.
It's the same principale of a snowmobile transmission. It's really a good concept compare a standard transmission. Just that it doesn't feel as "smooth" and there was more "sound" in the one I tested, but they were used ones not brand new.
