Hello We just got a 2016 Outlander SEL, I Just bought a Android 8.0 8" unit for it and I am in the process of installing a auto dimming mirror with compass and home link , I have a question about the harness under the map light there is a 4 pin connector with 3 wires on it, will this connector be for a auto dim mirror? I believe it was an option on this vehicles I cannot find any info on it, anyone with the auto dim mirror could take a picture of their connector so I can see what it looks like

 

I think there are no dim mirror option, at least I couldn't find any info. It looks like you are looking at either sunroof control connector or microphone connector.

 

Thanks, I ended up using the ground and constant 12v from that connector and ran a wire to the radio fuse for switched 12v, I installed a 2007 maxima auto dim mirror with the homelink and compass, it slides right into the outlander's mount and it was only $5 at the u pull it yard, works like a charm.
