Got a new 2016 Outlander SEL in Oct. The dealer said it had Sirius/XM. I didn't try the radio until after I signed the papers. When I told him, he said they could put one in. What he meant was not the stock one but an aftermarket unit which would have to be mounted somewhere on the dash. I don't want something that looks like a wart on my dash. Sirius/XM. Is there an in-dash factory or aftermarket unit that will work. The GT model it came standard and the new 2017 SEL comes with satelite. I am being told by Mitsubishi that the stock satelite from the GT or the 2017 will not work in the 2016? Any ideas? Or photos of the aftermarket that anyone has mounted that looks good?

Confused- I thought all if the 2016 SEL's had Sirius on the radio. I know navigation is optional. Is yours the 6 inch screen on the dash? There should be a button on the screen for Sirius. Attached a pic of radio

 

That is the Rockford Fosgate radio that comes in the GT model. I have done some hard research and found I am stuck getting an aftermarket radio. I did find that there is a Sirius/Xm module that integrates in the back of the head unit so you don't a have ugly wart on the dash. It shows everything on the radio display.
