New tires on a 2005 Outlander XLS AWD
I need new tires on the front only of my 2005 Outlander XLS AWD, it still has the original tires on ( Yokohama) 215/55R17.
Can I replace them with a difference make, or do I need to replace all of them?

Replacing all of them would be your best traction option since you have 4wd and is my suggestion.
Replace tires at the minimum in pairs of front/rear.
Then rotate them by making sure the pair moves together to the front/rear locations.
See what your local tire shop has to say.
