my 07 XLS (2wd) is having noise from the front while I was driving on the highway between
40 to 60 miles. checked aligment is OK ... wounder if the balance maybe off .. any suggestion?

If your tires were out of balance it would probably cause a vibration. I had this happen on the car I owned before my Outlander. Is it possible what you're hearing is tire noise? As tires wear down their noise characteristics can change.

Thank you for reply .. the noise which I think is from the front tire .. the sounds like "wooo-wooo" or hauling noise.

a possibility for a "wooo-wooo" noise from a tire could be a broken belt in the tire. has it always been that way? hit a pothole recently?? does the rate of the woo woo correspond to your speed?

thank you ccernst ... the "woo-woo" nise only happied recently .. the noise only happens when the speed over 40 mph

thanks all for your suggestion ... the front passenger-side tire's balance was off. redo the balance and its good
