Hi,

I have just recently bought a second hand Mitsubishi Outlander 2014 model and I love this car. We got 2 keys with it but one set was driven over by the previous owner and the electronics in the fob are non functioning. This is fine as my wife uses that as her set which is a spare to mine.

The situation arose the other day when my wife needed to use the car and took her keys, she could unlock the drivers door and start the car but we could not figure out how she could open the boot without using a working key fob remote switch.

Does anyone know how this can be done? Some mechanical (or internal electrical) way of doing this?
