I think that I have the same issue, When I play something loud with a lot of Bass, it only started a few weeks ago. I'll be taking it in for service in 2-3 weeks, so I'll see what they cando about it.

Could be a blown speaker?

I had that same rattling issue before, especially with deep bass as was earlier described. But only to find out that it was the grocery bag vibrating against the sub cover. Again, as with any sound system, it has limits. But I could very well find a right mix of mixer settings where I can get chest thumping bass at loud volumes without overwhelming the speakers. Also, the source of the music can cause unpleasant noise. MP3s with 300+ bitrates usually solves the problem.

I have tried the 6mos Sirius, and I say I'm very disappointed. I never renewed. Music sounds horrible, and I refuse to pay a subscription fee for something I get free (+commercial, but it's ok). I'ts a good thing they gave a free trial, because I found out digital doesn't always mean good quality. On certain channels the music sounds like it's coming out of a can.
