Could some knowledgeable kind person tell me what the component is in the attached pictures? Location offside rear.

Looks like it could be coolant system for emissions, but no warning lights are illuminated on the dash since the two wires have been ripped out after some debris made contact with it whilst driving back from France after New Year.

Just need to know what part to order, thanks.

 

I believe it's called a Vapor Canister....

 

My vapor canister is in the same position, but shaped differently - has the same metal box around it though
