Outlander 2011 2.4 cvt kick
Hi,
First sorry for broken english i'm a french canadian.
So to introduce me I'm a mecanic so no problem to repair thing ect.
I bought a outlander 2011 2.4l with the cvt transmition (this is my second outlander , i got a 2009 before november 2016 and had a accident)
the 2011 outlander I got it in november 2016 and had 108 000 km . The day I got it I changed the cvt fluid with valvoline valvoline cvt j1 . I read the mitsubishi service manual so flush the tranny then unplug the cooler hose , run the engine for 30 40 second, add new oil run a bit , flush again ect and fill it to the proper level.
Now the car have 139 000 km
the problem began 2 week ago , when I drive at constant speed no mater what the speed is it sudently the rpm go up like if the clutch disengage and re engage brutaly and you can feel the kick like if i try to do a burn out ( spin the wheel ?? dunno how to say that, like if I had a manual car and step on the clutch with trothle to the metal and release the clutch fast ) . In manual mode there is no problem . When I accelerate in auto mode there is no slip or anything. When the problem ocur if i just give little more throtle the problem stop.
Today I made a stop at mitsubishi dealer because It should be under waranty but the car didnt do the problem and my next apointement is in 1 week.
I read similar problem with the lancer but dosent find any fix
I'm gonna put a youtube link when my video will finish to be uploaded

Hi There,
Have you scanned the ECU for any stored codes?
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to reset everything?
I would also try finding the wiring connector to the Transmission and reseat that connection just to eliminate a bad connection.
I dont think it has anything to do with the Valvoline fluid, I think you have a sensor or TCU problem here.
Good luck finding the problem,

Dealer
So i bring my outlander today to the dealer at 9 am. Come by at 12h30 to see if they found anyting. They updated the engine controle unit and now the truck dosent have any more power the tech tell me he can barely reach 80 km/h... And have found nothing else so they keep searching in afternoon. So i bring my truck with a random transmition kick and know you cant drive on a highway... Hope they will find the solution and fix the triuble they cause
