Hi, i was wondering if someone could help please.

There is an LED which flashes to show the alarm is activated. Mine has no cover and i can see the little circuit board.

Does anyone know if you can buy a cover.

Otherwise would someone mind posting a picture so i can see what it looks like and make one.

I have a 2007 model and the panel the alarm LED is in is also the passenger seat airbag off warning LED. This is in the middle of the dash, Airbag/Alarm then Hazard light switch, then PAX seatbelt warning light. Is this the same on yours?

I think its an upgraded alarm, i also think there should be an override button on the cover that is missing.

The alarm is fitted when the car arrives in the UK. From the details I have it is a Cobra 3868 alarm, it might be worth contacting Cobra in the UK to see if you can buy the cover which would include the override button.

 

Thanks for the reply and info. I found the leaflet in my owners manual. I've been on the Cobra website and emailed a distributor, I'll see what they say.
