Default Outlander Facelift

I have a bad feeling about this front-end facelift. It was unnecessary IMHO. I would'vespent themoney to improve the existing car - add more features, improve some interior/exterior bits, etc. without raising theprice.

However, the mechanical upgrades might be good - more power on the V6? Maybe a TC-SST tranny?

woah, looks nice! It's pretty obvious that it will match lancer front end look which I liked so much.

Yea, I must say that as much as I like the look of the Outlander, the frontend on the Lancerreally grows on you.Wonder if they will also have an EVOlander version!

Interesting. The rest of the vehicle looks the same and considering they did not try to hide anything otherthan thefront parttells me thats the only change.

While the bulkier front end looks nice, i would thinkit will have more drag and negatively affect aerodynamics andfuel ecomony. I already havea nice rock dimple on the front of my sloped hood...this more vertical front will be a rock/chip/bug magnet IMHO. Maybe i'm just jealous and looking for reasons to not like it though.[:@]

Its not just rocks that pose a danger. I traded a 2003 Hyundai Elantra in on my Outlander. About a year after I had bought the Elantra new I was heading down the highway going to work when a truck in front of me threw off a bolt from the bed of the truck that left a half inch gash on my hood all the way down to the bare metal. Many years back I was driving down the highway when a truck in front of me started dropping wooden pallets on the road. Its a jungle out there.
