Ok, characteristic or feature for example ABS that's a security characteristic, USB port and Bluetooth are comfort and appearance characteristic.

HP, torque, transmission those are performance feature or characteristics
A characteristic is same as a feature.

other thing that a need is the benefice and the utility of the characteristic.
