Just only Vertical adjustment (up/down) no Horizontal (left/right)
Here are some JPEG image for 1st generation 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Outlander headlamp adjustment procedure
You will see the crank adjuster right next to bulb insert. Turn clockwise to up the beam or counter to lower it

I have an '04 and the back of my headlights look nothing like this. Am I missing something? The dealer wants $60.00 to do this for me.....

Somewhere on the back of your headlights there will be some adjusters...generally the size of a nickel to a quarter, with teeth as pictured above. it may not be exactly like pictured...but they are there.

Great! That takes care of the vertical adjustment. How do I adjust horizontally? Just to let you know I have a 2016 Outlander SE.
