Not sure if any of you guys have seen this yet.

Is Your New Car Trying To Kill You?

My wife and I drive this car. Is there reason for concern?

Probably not, I took a HazMat class for my Fire Protection Technology degree, and it's mostly when the sun hits and cooks your dash and any other parts it can get to. And even then, probably not much to worry about. But like the article suggests, a windshield cover can deter this and maybe cracking the windows when you leave the car to go to the store and such.

If what my teacher says is true, (A retired firefighter in the HazMat team for 20+ years), there are much worse things to fear in the environment.

[edit] You can most likely look up online how many PPM(parts per million) of those chemicals is harmful and under what conditions. I had a manual of it for class at one point

Thanks for posting! This is good to know. I guess living in a place where it doesn't get much hot has its advantages.
