I didn't change the DRLs. The removal of the trim was just the first step. I have the HIDs, so they're DRLs and according to the manual and use 27watt1156 bulbs..the non HID equipped vehicles have 55 W H11 bulbs. I'm not sure why they do it this way, The only thing I can think of is that theDRLs for non-HIDs use the headlight bulbs and the HID bulb can't produce a lower light foruse as a DRL
