Default Parking Brake After Service

I replaced pads and rotors on all four corners this weekend with Centric parts.

To get the rear rotors off I backed off the start adjuster from the parking brake a bunch of notches - didn't count then and the passenger side was a lot more than the drivers. Probably because of corrosion.

I just assumed it would self adjust back to a normal position with a few quick reverses with hard braking. That doesn't seem to be the case.

Just looked in the manual and it says to expand the adjuster until the wheel won't spin and then back off adjuster 5 notches and check for dragging. Sound about right to anyone else who has done this job?
