Default Passenger Compartment Lights Swapped To LEDs

Took all of 5 minutes to swap out the 4 festoon bulbs in my 2009 and replaced them with LED's from superbrightleds.com.

The two reading lights in the front were easy to switch out with 3022-WW4 bulbs - WW is for the colour - Warm White.

The two dome lights I replaced with 3022-WWHP4 bulbs which are higher powered. I decided I didn't need the high power bulbs staring me in the face when I get in the car or have to read a map but they would definitely help with the trunk.

The problem is the HP bulbs are easily a millimetre or more larger and are really snug to get in - the regular powered bulbs are a match to the OEM size.

Taking photos of lights at night is hard, but I'm happy with them so far and feel the vehicle is better lit now. We'll see how long they last - I've hung onto the old bulbs.

I used 6x5020 bulbs from Dealextreme.
Indeed, it is not easy to take pictures of them, but still:

The second pic is a bit more real light color-wise.

How hard is it to pop off the lens? Haven't looked yet.

Really easy, instructions are in your owners manual. Use a small/tiny screwdriver with a cloth over it.

The front reading lights start on the bottom inner hinge - closest to the on/off switch between the two reading lights - the hinges pop out first then you removed the fixed side with tabs closer to the doors.

The rear domes have a little slot right behind the switch to pry. They pivot to the back of the car to removed the fixed side tabs.

About 2.5mm longer than the OEM bulb I took out which was about 29mm in length from tip to tip.
