You should have bought a different car then, there's none for yours. Enjoy stock!

As of now there are no real chips available... just bullcrap resistor mods on ebay (STAY AWAY FROM THEM!)

In a year maybe we will see a solution or a piggyback adapter with basic options.

If the outlander is factory tuned anything like mitsu's other newer vehicles... a lil leaning of the AFR and some mivec adjustment can net 10-15hp and better MPG without sacrificing reliability.

But for most folks, stock will be fine for them. (Im not one of them)

My old shogun sport 2.5 turbo diesel had a piggy back chip approved by Mitsubishi UK so I would use the same again, not sure whats out their but with having a VAG turbo diesel engine theirs lots of choice.

I dont think a chip in a new outlander would be useful it shifts at present without it, unlike the shogun sport which was very slow due to its weight just check with your insurance company first

Chips for normally aspirated cars won't get you much, especially for the cost. They may just retune it for premium fuel, which would get you very minor gains..
