Default Problem with 2015 Outlander MMCS

Hi, I hope someone can help me; I have tried three different mobiles and they all tell me that my MMCS does not have the hands free function. Strangely, before I had a flat battery it was working. When I try to pair with any mobile the unit asks for a 4 digit code but nothing I have tried works. I have contacted my service centre where i get the car serviced and no-one there can help, even the techs at the SA head office can't help. Can anyone suggest if there is a way to turn the hands free back on, please?

Make a factory reset of MMCS, activate BT (Bluetooth) from the menu. If does not help, throw this unit (togethere with BT box behind it) away to a junkyard and get a new 3rd party stereo with BT, steering wheel buttons support 1din simple model or 2din smart Android and other features. Search my posts where I show how to make a cable with adapter without cutting any wites for 3rd party stereo.

Mitsubishi is unable to make good and reliable stereos/BT. That's why they could not help you at the service center. They dont have SW or FW updates (well they have but it usually contain new bugs and BT becomes useless anyway).

the default codes are 1212 or 0000. If neither of these work the dealer can access the system using their MUT3 and reset the code for you.
