I can hear a clicky noise, like the fans are going to turn on but both of them never do, even with the air conditioner on, neither fan will ever come on anymore. What do you think might be the problem? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

no I never got a recall for that. What was wrong with the fan controller?

 

It was for the '03-'04. Who knows what was wrong. It is a little electronic box. I think the symptoms were variable. Mine would kick the fan on just driving down the road with temp at normal. New box, problem gone. It's a dealer thing so you would have to check there. If it's an '05 the fix should be in place???

Thanks Guys, i checked with my dealer, yeah mine qualifies for the recall, i got my outlander around 12/02, one of the original outlanders, my wife is taking it to the dealer in the morning. I was wondering, why this recall is not listed on the NHTSA website? Thanks again

 

That's the Recall 100%...my dealer did it twice for some reason.
Probably one of many.
