terrible review.

first, its a truck.. if you are looking for "performance", you wont find it anywhere.
There are a few performance oriented trucks on the market- the Silverado SS, Ram SRT-10, Rumble Bee , and soon to be 07 Saleen F150.
Granted, in such a large package, performance isn't phenomenal, but very respectable by performance standards.

they are not what I would consider "trucks", as they are terribly limited in things like towing, hauling, etc.
they're also incredibly expensive overall.

SS Silverado will tow 7800 lbs...not too bad. Payload will likely be minimal due to suspension being geared towards performance. Expensive...yup. starting at $33K w/out GM incentives. Overall, it's a good compromise IMO

I am on my second raider, Like the overall truck. Best I have had in years comfortable nice size for getting around in crowded parking lots.

Pulls nice.

In regards to the power I found mine to be the weakest in the low end cruising rpm 12-1500. higher rpm it has more than enough towing capacity.

I think if they made a decent programmer these problems could be overcome.

I am looking for a programmer if anyone has suggestions, and no i don't want a jet chip. want option to run cheap cas when commuting.

Love my truck

I with you. I love my Raider and would love it if Superchips or HyperTech would make a programer for our trucks but they don't. From what I've read on Dokota forums that they don't plan on make a programer do to lack of demand.

Jet makes a chip for the Raider/Dakota. Most anything made for a a 05-07 Dakota will fit the Raider.
