Default Random dead battery issue

This is a recent issue.. I drained my battery a few weeks ago and had to recharge it. It was a slow 2 amp trickle charge.. . since then I've had random instances of when the car was off for any random period of time and I'd go to start it there was nothing
no interior lights.etc. most recently tonight. I turned it off. To disable running lights. Went to restart and nothing.. dead as dead can be.. yet.... pop off the negative terminal and replace it everything is right as rain
csr starts again.

battery is new as of early 2016 and and tests fine . Alternator is fine etc..

only happens when csr is out in cold as its never happened starting in garage

any insight would be greatly appreciated

is this a maintenance or maintenance-free battery? if you can open the cells, make sure it has correct water levels.

sometimes when a battery is drained, it does kill the battery.
