Default Rear Sensors / Rear View Camera Issues

Greetings to all,

looking for some info / help. Just brought a 2013 Outlander for my wife. It has a rear view camera (looks like a factory installation), according the the seller (private) he never bother with it so couldn't give any information (the car belonged to his ex) but it's not working also parking sensors not working when you press the switch to turn on the sensor nothing happens. Found the shop manual for the vehicle, but cannot see any information for the rear view camera, Looking around the fuses, can't find any that is related to the sensors, nor can I find a fuse for the rear view camera, does anyone know where the fuse is located. Fuses are normally the first step in troubleshooting from my experience. Any advice, help would be appreciated.

Unlikely to be a fuse for this function, as is all controlled via the Head unit and the CANBUS network.

Find how to access the secret service menu for your headunit and check camera connections in the hidden menus
